You can top up your OKTO account with the following methods: Wire Transfer, Card, P2P, Cash* and Faster payments*.
*not available in all territories that OKTO operates.
Wire Transfer
1. Log in to your account
2. Go to ‘Add Money’
3. Select ‘Wire Transfer’
4. Copy this information to your bank account transfer transaction details in order to receive the transfer via your bank account. Don’t forget to insert your reference number in the details of the transaction. Transfers usually take 1-3 working days to appear in your account.
Card
Credit/Debit Card transfer is another source of funding for your OKTO account.
1. Log in
2. Go to ‘Add Money’
3. Select ‘Card’ as payment method
4. Select any of your saved cards or click on the ‘Add money with new card’ in case you want to add a new card
5. Select if the funds to be deposited are going to be used for gaming or non-gaming activities. Funds deposited for non-gaming cannot be used for gaming & betting activities while funds deposited for gaming can be used for every type of activity
6. Select or type the transaction amount and then click on the ‘Top Up’ button
Once you complete the transaction the money will arrive right away.
Faster Payments
Faster Payments is a speedy, convenient, and secure way tο make bank payments in the UK. This banking initiative enables customers to top up their OKTO wallet or withdraw money from their OKTO account. Making a transaction using faster payments does not take long and it is not a complicated or out of the ordinary process to be followed.
By the time a remitting customer proceeds with a payment, the beneficiary should be able to see the credit on his account within minutes and also access the funds.
Add Money, using Faster Payments
- Go to ‘Add Money’ from the Overview Page
- Select ‘Faster Payments’ as a payment method
- Select amount to Top Up
- Confirm Payment
- Redirect to the Faster Payments 3rd Party Provider “Citizen” Environment
- Choose your bank
- Check the payment details
- Confirm payment
- Go back to your OKTO account to check the status of your payment
Cash
If it is the first time you top up your OKTO account with cash you will be asked to allow the app to access your camera to place the QR code of a merchant that supports OKTO cash-in transactions inside the selected area. Scanning will start automatically. Remember that cash-in option is not available in all territories we operate in and the transactions take place in authorized merchants of our OKTO network.
Peer 2 Peer
You can also send & receive funds through your OKTO account. The process is fast and super simple.
1. Log in to your OKTO account
2. Select ‘Send & Request’ from the home screen
3. Go to the ‘Send’ or ‘Request section
4. In case it is the first time you are using P2P transfer, allow the OKTO app to access your Contacts
5. Scroll down or type your friend’s name,
6. Type or select the transferred/requested amount and proceed
In the case of send money, once money is transferred, the sender’s available balance decreases instantly. The recipient gets notified immediately that the payment has arrived and their balance increases.
In the case of request money, a request notification sends out instantly to the recipient.
